Agent Gossip Protocol (AGP) is a transport-independent protocol for multi-agent environments, with a preferred A2A binding. It lets agents exchange fresh, attributed, expiring operational evidence — never tasks, prompts, or business data — so each participant can choose more effectively among action paths it has already discovered and is already authorized to use.
Start Here
- Getting Started introduces the core model and where to read next.
- Specification contains the normative protocol documents.
- Proposals describe how changes are proposed and ratified.
- Schemas provide machine-readable payload definitions.
Current Status
AGP is currently a draft specification. The documents in this repository are the source of truth until version 1.0.0 is ratified through the SEP process.
